To commemorate 20 years of crusing from Baltimore, Carnival Cruise Line honored first responders who assisted with the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge. During a celebratory occasion aboard Carnival Pride on Sunday, Carnival President Christine Duffy welcomed aboard dignitaries and public officers that included Maryland Lt. Gov. Aruna Miller, Maryland Transportation Secretary Paul Wiedefeld, Baltimore Deputy Mayor J.D. Merrill, and Executive Director of the Maryland Port Administration Jonathan Daniels together with representatives from the U.S. Naval Academy.
Duffy thanked leaders for his or her longstanding partnership and famous the current return to cruising from Baltimore following the bridge’s collapse. Carnival additionally marked the 20-year milestone by donating $25,000 to the U.S. Naval Academy Foundation to help its Energy Security and Infrastructure Resilience program.
