Royal Caribbean International has introduced that its second Icon-class ship Star of the Seas will function a brand-new leisure present for the road: “Back to the Future: The Musical.”
The Olivier Award-winning musical that’s lighting up the stage on Broadway, the West End, and extra will debut as a headlining present aboard the upcoming mega ship. In press supplies on its web site, the road mentioned that “in store will be surprise Royal Caribbean twists to the musical hit, and along for the ride will be the show’s original creatives.”
Royal Caribbean’s leisure crew has already held two profitable weeks of auditions for the present in London and New York City, and is ready to start rehearsals in 2025.

The 1985 film “Back to the Future” is a couple of teen who’s thrown again to the Fifties when an experiment by his scientist good friend goes awry. As he travels via time, he encounters his younger dad and mom and wishes to verify they fall in love or he’ll stop to exist.
Royal Caribbean launched a video preview of the present in the present day, which is the ninth annual “Back to the Future Day.” This date honors the fictional story featured in “Back to the Future II,” the place the 2 primary characters journey into the long run from 1985 to October 21, 2015.
Like its sister ship Icon of the Seas, Star of the Seas will function a plethora of leisure venues together with the high-dive AquaTheater within the ship’s glass-enclosed AquaDome, the Absolute Zero ice skating enviornment, and the basic cruise ship manufacturing venue the Royal Theater.
Star of the Seas is scheduled to debut in late August 2025. From Port Canaveral, the ship will function seven-night japanese and western Caribbean voyages. All itineraries embody a cease at Royal Caribbean’s personal island within the Bahamas, Perfect Day at CocoCay.
